The company was founded in 1998 by Michael Shpoliansky, who holds a degree in electronics engineering from Tel Aviv University. Since then, DES Instruments has been operating in the field of import and export of dental and medical equipment.

   The company started out as a legacy laboratory of AlfaBio company specializing in dental instrument repairs. Over time, as it gained professionalism and competence, the firm expanded its business activities in the area of service delivery and import of dental and medical equipment to a wider audience and became an independent company.

   Today, DES imports dental and medical instruments for plastic surgery, ENT, cranial surgery, gynecology, orthopedics and other fields from such manufacturers as Nouvag (Switzerland), Anthogyr (France), MK-dent (Germany) and Dowell (USA).

   In addition, the company services dental and medical devices such as highspeed and lowspeed handpieces, implant motors and other equipment of the world’s leading manufacturers.

   The firm provides its services to private clinics, health funds, hospitals, universities, nonprofit organizations and others.
