The OtoDrill motor handpiece is designed particularly for ENT surgery and is applied in Stapedotomy for Otoscleroses patients. It allows fine milling works in a localized manner. The OtoDrill is the predestined instrument for the work at the most delicate bones in the human body and thus, ideally applicable for reconstruction of the ossicular chain with implants.
The OtoDrill is preferably controlled by a suitable motor system such as Nouvag’s surgical motor systems HighSurg 11 and HighSurg 30. These provide exactly adjusted characteristic maps of the motor and a display with all the control parameters at a glance and in real-time. This is an important contribution to safety and gives confidence with any procedure.
